El Sánchez (they/them) is a queer/non-binary/Chicanx stand-up comedian, writer, podcast host and storyteller that has been performing since 2010. Starting out in Seattle, WA and currently based out of Olympia, WA, Crosscut.com described El as, “a special comedian; with unparalleled storytelling, quick wit and a bubbly demeanor, they can make magic out of any moment.” El has been called "fearless" by City Arts Magazine, "a grumpy nugget of delight," by New York Times bestselling author Lindy West, "a brilliant new voice everyone should know," by comedian Hari Kondabolu (Netflix, HBO, Conan) and “the truth,” by Emmy-award winning political comedian W. Kamau Bell (CNN’s United Shades of America).

They have opened for comedy legends such as Marc Maron, Gary Gulman and Margaret Cho, were a long-time host (2015-2020) and featured storyteller for The Moth and were featured in Teen Vogue (2017), Allure (2020), Shout Your Abortion: The Book (2018) and a coloring book project by New York Times best-selling author and activist Ijeoma Oluo (So You Want to Talk About Race?) called “The Badass Feminist Coloring Book” (2015).
